Juventus visits Sassuolo
Juventus visits Sassuolo in a game from the 33th round of the Serie A and for them it’s nothing, but one more step towards the Scudetto. The Bianconeri are leading the league standings with 76 points and they are enjoying a solid 8 points lead in front of the 2nd Lazio. Nobody believes anymore that Juve could lose the title this season.
It does not happen very often to see Juventus not winning in two consectuive games, but it happened in the last week. Maurizio Sarri’s team won just one point in the two matches against AC Milan and Atalanta. But because of Lazio’s losing three consecutive times, Juve even increased their lead in front of the capital club.
Cristiano Ronaldo saved Juventus against Atalanta at the Allianz Stadium. The Portuguese star scored two penalties against La Dea and he’s now just one goal behind Ciro Immobile in the Serie A goalscoring chart. You can be absolutely sure that Cristiano would like to win the Serie A golden boot at the end of the season.
Sassuolo are surprising everyone with their incredible form. They are in a run of four consecutive wins in the Serie A and we are all impressed by their fantastic shape. It’d be curious to see if they can make such a performance against Juve as well.
In their last match Sassuolo won for a 4th consecutive time. Roberto De Zerbi’s boys actually made Juve a favour and celebrated a 2-1 win over Lazio at the Olimpico. Raspadori and Caputo scored the two winners for Sassuolo in the capital. It was a very prestigious win for Sassuolo and the fans were happy.
In our preview we can say that we don’t expect a walk in the park for Juventus against Sassuolo. We remind you that the Neroverdi are in a run of four consecutive wins in the league. They might cause some trouble here.
