Udinese – Milan
Udinese hosts Milan at the Dacia Arena in Udine in a game from the 6th round of the Serie A. Let’s take a look at it right now.
Udinese are not having a very good start of the 2020/21 season. After five games played the Bianconeri are currently in the relegation zone of the Serie A with 3 points and four losses from five matches played. If they continue like this it’s not clear if the manager Luca Gotti will keep his job.
Last week Udinese suffered their 4th loss for the season. The Bianconeri faced Fiorentina away from home and suffered a 2-3 defeat at the Artemio Franchi. Stefano Okaka scored both goals for Udinese, but at the end La Viola scored one more.
Milan had a completely different start of the season. The Rossoneri are in a great shape at the moment and right now they are leading the Serie A standings with 13 points. In five games played Milan are almost perfect – four wins and one draw.
The Rossoneri started the season with four consecutive wins in the league, but in the previous round they lost points for a first time. Stefano Pioli’s boys hosted Roma at the San Siro and the game ended with a dramatic 3-3 draw. Zlatan Ibrahimovic (twice) and Alexis Saelemaekers scored for Milan, but Roma scored a late equaliser in the 84th minute to get the point.
During the week Milan had a game in Europa League as well. The Rossoneri didn’t have any problems to win when they faced Sparta Prague at the San Siro. The match ended with a 3-0 win for the Italian giants. Brahim Diaz, Rafael Leao and Diogo Dalot scored for Pioli’s team.
That’s our preview for the Serie A game between Udinese and Milan at the Dacia Arena. The visitors are in a much better shape right now, so they are favourites.
